Our porcelain temples are part of brand line that includes over 80 miniature houses found in Prague. From them you can build the Old Town Square, the Golden Lane or even a part of the Lesser Town.

How it comes about:
The basic model is made in scale according to the actual model. Then it’s converted in an elaborate way into a form, from which we obtain individual parts by casting porcelain mass. After assembling, retouching, drying and firing, careful and detailed revising begins again. This process is followed by hand painting with several layers of glaze and another firing at 1200 ° C. Last task is the final decor and firing in the kiln. It is a unique and sophisticated technique of creating models with the theme of historic temples. You can see the result in front of you…

The goal:
Our aim is to capture the beauty of architecture in the imprint of ceramic clay and to transfer a piece of poetry of old Prague to your homes. Old Prague lovers in our country, as well as travelers from all over the world, have sets of entire streets and individual pieces of our models at home. It is a nice and valuable reminder of visiting Prague and Bohemia.

History of The Temple of Our Lady before Tyn:
Church of Our Lady before Tyn is situated in the vicinity of Old Town Square. Its western facade is a prominent and important sight in Prague. Originally Romanesque church was re-build into its gothic form in the 13th century. One hundred years later it has been reconstructed into its today´s gothic appearance. A number of significant builders, such as Matthew of Arras or Peter Parkléř, took part in the reconstruction. The whole church structure, including the dominant 80 metres tower, took place until 1511. During Hussite revolutions the church became a centre for Jan Hus´s supporters. After the Battler of White Mountain Catholics regained control over it. It survived two major conflagrations, in 1679 and in 1819. Damage was extensive due to almost destruction of roof frame of towers of the whole western escutcheon. The roof frame was replaced in 1836. In the 19th century many changes took place. Plastering that covered a part of the facade was removed. This way the church gained its today´s appearance. The church is built of stone blocks, plaener served as material for statues. This Gothic building has triple-navel basilica with a couple of towers in its western frontage and mostly Baroque contents of the house. The towers are richly decorated, complemented by a gallery and a quartet of corner towers. Between them there is a Baroque relief of Madonna decorated by a number of pinnacles.
