This house started to grow from Romanesque foundations in the 12th c. Before 1400 there used to be a two-storey building similar to the present one. The first record of the house comes from 1401. Between the years 1546 - 1571 it underwent Renaissance reconstruction. Daniel Voříkovský from Kunratice, the mayor of Prague, acquired the house in 1651. Most probably he ordered a reconstruction of its front in order to make it more representative of his position. This reconstruction was possibly done at the beginning of the 18th c. In spite of other reconstruction of the front at the end of the 18th c., the windows on the first floor still remind us of the architectural style typical for František Maximillian Kaňka.
Every miniature magnetic house made of porcelain is original, unique and unrepeatable. Each individual piece might be slightly different in size or shade of colour as we hand paint every single one.
